A magical boat ride – one of the highlights of our honeymoon trip

House boating on The Kerala backwaters has high praise so the expectations were high. We arrived from a couple blissful days in Kovalam further increasing the expectations and the boat ride met and exceeded.

The 18 hours spent on the houseboat was one of the best 18 hours as it was an experience of a lifetime.

The food supplied was simple but simply divine, the cook took basic fish and made a fantastic meal of it as he did with rest of the meals.
The personal cook made lunch, tea, Supper and breakfast. He also cooked the tiger prawns which we bought from the shop along the lake.
Cruising along the canals with homes alongside was fascinating.
I could write a lot more but all in all highly recommended and a definite revisit – Shivakumar
